Beginner Guide
This section is custom-made so newbies can get the basics down and avoid feeling lost when they first join the server.
First Steps (10–20 minutes)
When you first join the server, you’ll either spawn in a world (1–8, or 9–10 for VIPs) or in the HUB.
The HUB
The HUB is the main meeting place. Here you can travel between worlds (1–10) and raid worlds (1–4).

/smarket is also located here. If you want to buy or sell things to other players, this is where you do it. - There are also trade windows in the HUB for player-to-player trades.
- You can enter the HUB with the commands
/hubor/hub 1–3.
Choose Your World
Now you need to choose a world. All worlds use the same map, so the choice does not significantly affect gameplay. This is where you can build your main base.
Starter Quests
After joining a world, type /q or /quest to open the quest menu. Start by accepting the “Getting Started [1–3]” quests. These require collecting 5,000 stone, 5,000 wood, and 1,000 metal ore, and they reward you with early building materials, XP, and RP.
Build Your Base
After completing these starter quests, you should have enough materials to place a small starter base. Use /sethome "name" for quick and easy teleportation to your base. You do not need to worry about doors or locks, as only you and your teammates can access what you place—one less thing to worry about.
Progressing
Once your base is down, continue progressing through quests. Open the quest menu again and accept “Virtual Oil Baron” and “Barrel Basher,” which require collecting 10 diesel and destroying 75 barrels, respectively.
After completing these quests, return to the quest menu and claim all the rewards. You should now have enough RP to purchase your own Recycler. This will be very useful later in the wipe; for now, you can use it to recycle unwanted items and unlock useful blueprints.
You can also use the command /sell to sell, for example, components to the server. This will reward you with enough RP to do other things like raiding.
This covers the basics for getting started. In the following pages, you’ll find more information on progression, different playstyles, and tips to help you choose the path that suits you best.
TIP: To get starter guns and explosives, you can join the raid islands by going to the HUB (/hub) and walking through the red portals named “Raid World 1–4.” Inside, you will find six different portals named “Brad 1–6.” Join any one of them and look on the ground—usually more experienced players leave behind items they do not need.
TIP 2: You can use /kit to get some starting materials like medical supplies, wood, stone, and more. If you link or authenticate your account on Discord, you will get access to additional kits.
TIP 3: With the command /info, you’ll get an overview of all commands, different activities, and more. This is a really helpful command that you should use.
